Author Denis Horgan to Speak and Sign Books

From the Town of Tolland:

Author and journalist Denis Horgan will be speak and sign books Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Tolland Senior Center as part of the Eaton-Dimock-King Authors Series. The series, sponsored by the Tolland Public Library and the Tolland Public Library Foundation, is made possible by the Phoebe Dimock King and the Elizabeth C. King Eaton Endowment.

This session has been moved to the senior center due to construction at the library. Horgan will discuss his third book, "Ninety-Eight Point Six...and other stories,'' a collection of short stories. He is a former longtime columnist at The Hartford Courant. His distinguished journalism career includes award-winning work as a reporter, editor and columnist at The Courant, the Bangkok World and the Washington Star.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To sign up, call the library at 860-871-3620.
