Library Program on the College Search for Student Athletes‏

Come see Tom Moore, men's basketball coach at Quinnipiac University, and Kate Mullen, women's basketball coach at Wesleyan University, headline a fascinating panel on October 19 on "The College Search from the Student-Athlete's Perspective."   They will be joined at 7 p.m. at the Tolland High School auditorium by THS athletic director Pat Cox; Jim Leahy, THS' boys soccer coach, and Skip Olander and Donna Schatzlein,  parents of athletes.

The panel discussion is being sponsored by the Tolland Public Library and the Tolland Public Library Foundation as part of a special focus on "The Year of the Young Adult."  This will be the first of many events being planned by the library so middle and high school students can
get reacquainted with this town treasure.  "The Year of the Young Adult" is being funded by the Foundation through the Phoebe Dimock King and Elizabeth C. King Eaton Endowment.
