Girls Track Team Takes Class M Title

The girls track team completed a great comeback Tuesday night winning the Class M state championship on the last event. Leading the way with wins were the 4x800 relay team of Kristin Carr, Emily Howard, Rachel Gedansky, and Kelsey Swanson, Katy Sprout in the 300 hurdles, Carr in the 400, and the 4x400 relay team of Carr, Howard, Sprout and Carly DeDominicis. Also scoring some crucial points were Megan Lester and Kristin Schatzlein in the Javelin, Becky Lavernoich in the 300 Hurdles, in the 3200 and Kelsey Swanson in the 400. The team's next meet will be at the State Open next Monday.
