Hot Chelle Rae Coming to TMS

In recognition of their giving character, Tolland Middle School students will be treated to a private concert with the popular band.

The halls of the Tolland Middle School will be rockin' sometime in December to tunes like Tonight, Tonight and I Like it Like That when one of the country's hottest new bands comes to town.

Under the direction of the student council, TMS students raised $3,245 of the $10,000 in total collected during the KC101 FM Stuff the Bus contest, which collects food and money to be donated to the Connecticut Food Bank.

The students' achievement has earned the school the distinction of collecting the most for the contest, according to the TMS website.

So, what does this mean exactly? It means that the Nashville-based pop-rock quartet Hot Chelle Rae, which recently won best new artist at the American Music Awards, will be put on a private concert for TMS students.
