Local Students Named to Loomis Chaffee Honor Roll

Four made the grade.

The following area students were recently named to the fall honor roll at The Loomis Chaffee School:

• Drew Voghel, a junior from Tolland, received high honors. 

• Shawn Adamson, a senior from Tolland, received honors.

• Amanda Arute, a senior from Tolland, received high honors.

• Nicholas Kamm, a senior from Tolland, received high honors.

The Loomis Chaffee School, located in Windsor, is an internationally recognized college preparatory school for grades 9 through 12 that fosters critical thinking and a global perspective in talented students from around the state, the country and the world. Since 1914, the school has offered educational opportunities for boys and girls regardless of religious or political beliefs, national origin, or financial resources. Academically challenging, the school promotes active learning within a respectful and civil community. The school's 650 students represent 39 countries and 26 U.S. states, with 33 percent of the student body receiving financial aid.
