Photo Gallery: Pasta for Play and Night of Giving
The Tolland Elementary PTO held the playscape fundraising dinner and the charitable night this Saturday at Tolland Intermediate School.
The snowstorm may have disrupted the Tolland Elementary PTO's schedule and even threatened to delay the of the , but the group of volunteers picked up right where the power outage left off to throw a double event at TIS on Saturday night: Pasta for Play and Night of Giving.
According to TEPTO president Karen Moran, the group raised close to $1,100 from the pasta dinner to go towards the second phase of the playscape.
Guests at the Night of Giving also contributed to several charities throughout the evening. According to Moran, guests made around 40 cards to send for the From the Heart organization and to the Air National Guard. Over 70 animals from Noah's Ark were stuffed and donated to the Helen Gray Cancer Center, and two large boxes were collected for the Tolland Food Pantry.

Moran added that guests donated a box of games and toys for the Connecticut Children's Medical Center and peeled boxes of crayons for Crayons for Cancer.
