Bookworms in Tolland had reason to rejoice on Wednesday!
Students at Birch Grove Primary School and Tolland Intermediate School commemorated Read Across Tolland Day by partnering up to read their favorite stories together on Wednesday morning.
Special guests like Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman also stopped by to share their favorite stories with students.
Birch Grove reading specialist Dorothy Drobney and TIS reading specialist Cynthia Huschle coordinated the day devoted to all things reading.
The Tolland Elementary PTO paid for buses to transport the TIS classes to the primary school for the reading buddy activity, according to TEPTO President Karen Moran.
