TIS Playscape Completed for First Day of School

TEPTO held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly finished playscape at Tolland Intermediate School on Monday.

There will be a whole new level of fun to recess at this year with the school's brand-new playscape, a .

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the playscape on Monday. TIS Principal James Dineen said that the playscape will help the former middle school have more of an elementary school spirit.

"I know the kids will be thrilled to have it," he said, thanking TEPTO president Karen Moran and the other volunteers for their tireless work and dedication.

Moran said that the playscape cost just under $100,000 to complete.
