Tolland Girls Basketball Chosen as Sun Team of the Week
Team members will receive plaques and letters as the Connecticut Sun Team of the Week.
The Tolland girls basketball team is being recognized as the Sun Team of the Week, according to a press release from the Connecticut Sun.
"I've got eight kids that play great basketball together," said head coach Rocco Sansone. "And the key word would be together. It's a great accomplishment for them. It's been a really great storybook year."
Team members will receive plaques and letters from Connecticut Sun coach Mike Thibault, according to the release.

The Sun Team of the Week program is in its sixth season.
The Tolland girls basketball team, which is 7-0, won the Avon Holiday Tournament last week, and recently beat Wethersfield 84-19 and took Northwest Catholic 53-35, according to the release.
