Tolland Girls Lose Close Game to Hall
The team attempted to rally in the second half, but couldn't tie the 2-1 game.
The Tolland High School girls' soccer team lost the first game of the season to West Hartford's Hall High School, 2-1 on Tuesday evening.
Hall commanded the lead early in the first half. Freshman Erin O'Brien scored the first goal, followed quickly with a second from junior Hayley Mullins, leaving the score 2-0 at halftime.
Tolland played aggressively during the second half, with many close attempts for a goal. Tolland senior and team co-captain Kristin Carr scored the only goal for Tolland during the half.

According to the posted schedule, Tolland will play Enrico Fermi High School at Tolland on Friday, Sept. 16, starting at 3:45 p.m.
