Tolland High Indoor Track Class M Championship Results
Coach Corey Bernier sums up the results of last week's Class M state championship for Tolland.
From Coach Corey Bernier:
On the boys side, Matt Mensher won the 3200 meter race, earning all-state honors. Matt will race again this weekend at the state open.
On the girls side, the 4x800-meter relay team of Kristin Carr, Alexa Krause, Rachel Gedansky and Emily Howard earned a second place finish. Also placing second was the Sprint Medley Relay team of Becky Lavernoich, Jenny Jacobs, Katy Sprout and Emily Howard.
Katy Sprout finished fourth in the 55 hurdles race and lowered her school record to 9.01. As a team, the Tolland girls finished fourth.
