Tolland Schools Closed until September 6th
Superintendent William Guzman says that road closures and downed wires make school transportation too perilous for this week.
Tolland students will have an extended summer break until Tuesday, September 6, when Tolland schools will reopen.
Superintendent William Guzman explained that multiple road closures and downed power lines make it too dangerous and difficult to get students to school.
"Transportation to and from school is a concern," he said.

The first day of school was scheduled to take place on August 31.
Power has been restored to all of the district's schools. Tolland High School held its on Tuesday, and Birch Grove Primary School had a meet and greet.
