Tolland Schools Earn Spot on AP District Honor Roll

The district was one of 539 in the U.S. and Canada to be placed on the list.

College Board has named the Tolland school district to the Annual AP District Honor Roll, according to a board of education agenda item

To earn a spot on the honor roll, school districts must:

  • Increase student access to AP courses
  • The percentage of African-American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian/Alaska Native students taking the courses must not decrease more than 5 percent for large and medium districts and 10 percent for small districts
  • Performance levels must have been maintained or increased when comparing the percentage of students who scored a 3 or higher from 2010 to 2012

A total of 539 school districts in the U.S. and Canada and 26 districts in Connecticut earned spots on the list.
