Tolland Students Graduate from The Loomis Chaffee School

Two Tolland residents graduated from the Windsor school.

The following students were among the 218 graduates from the Loomis Chaffee Class of 2012. The school's 96th Commencement Ceremony was held on June 8.

Kelsey Adamson of Tolland, was a WALKS Scholar; staff member of the student newspaper, the Log; Girls Varsity Soccer player; and co-captain of the Girls Varsity Track and Field team. She was named Founders League Champion for the 100 and 200 m. runs and 4x100 meter relay, and received the Most Valuable Player award. She will continue her studies at Williams College.

Elizabeth Titterton of Tolland, was inducted to the Cum Laude Society and awarded the Chéruy Senior Foreign Language Prize, Mathematics Department Honors, and History Department Honors. She was the vice president of the Debate Society and sports editor of the student newspaper, the Log. As captain of the Girls Varsity Water Polo team she received the Coaches' Award, and as co-captain for the Girls Varsity Swimming/Diving team was named Academic All-American Champion and received the Coaches' Award. She will matriculate at Boston College.
