Coed Golf Lessons Begin - Tuesday Evenings

Have you wanted to play golf but won’t because you don’t know the basics of the game? The Tolland Recreation Department is pleased to offer Coed Golf Lessons on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. beginning August 30, 2011, for 4 weeks or Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m. beginning September 1, 2011, for 4 weeks at a cost of $63.00.

You will learn the basics of golf, proper grip, alignment, swing, etiquette and rules. Lessons will cover fundamentals of driving, chipping and putting. They will be held at Skungamaug River Golf Course (end of Goose Lane) with instructor Rick Nelson, PGA Professional.
