Tolland Bests Vernon in Girls Soccer
Jenny Jacobs had two goals for Tolland and Morgan Skoly scored for Rockville.
Tolland defeated Rockville in a girls high school soccer match in Vernon on Friday.
The final was 3-1.
Tolland's Jenny Jacobs scored the first goal of the game off a cross.
Morgan Skoly of Rockville tied it up six minutes later. Emily Vincze assisted on the goal.
Jacobs gave Tolland the game-winner just 1:18 into the second half and Mariah Elliot added the final goal with 11 seconds left in the game.
Sarah Barnes had seven saves for Rockville in goal.
In goal for Tolland were Katie Akerley and Victoria Richardson. They did did not have any saves.
Tolland is now 3-0. Rockville fell to 1-3.
