Tolland Volleyball Stages a Comeback Against South Windsor

The team fought for a victory, winning the final three sets after falling behind on the first two.

Tolland High School volleyball won a close game against South Windsor on Friday, falling behind on the first two sets (23-25, 23-25) only to come roaring back to take the final three (26-24,25-16, and 17-15), according to coach Ken Brown.

The team, now 9-3, had many stand outs for the close game, including Jenna Lovett with 12 kills, Taylor Hammeke with four kills and eight blocks, Alex Soucy with 13 digs and Kayla Higgins with 20 assists.

The team will play against Rockville at Tolland High School on Monday starting at 5 p.m., according to the posted schedule.
