Rather than try to answer the question, the Tolland and Rockville track and field teams just ran past it.

The Tolland High School and Rockville High School track and field teams - boys and girls - competed against each other on Tuesday in Vernon.

With on-and-off drizzle and impending heavier rain in the forecast, the meet took on a unique twist, as both the boys and girls races over certain distances were run simultaneously.

The race within the race was to finish ahead of the heavy weather.
