There IS Help for Allergy and Asthma Sufferers!

As we enter the month of June, have your allergies and asthma been bothering you just when you thought we were past the peak of springtime allergies?

It is forecast to be a very wet and somewhat cool week here in Connecticut, which is not typical of the first week of June!  This can be both good and bad for the allergy and asthma sufferers out there; in one respect the rain helps to keep the tree and grass pollen from floating around, but in another respect mold spores and dust mites are higher inside the home on those damper days.  The higher the humidity or dampness in the air, the better the environment for mold spores and dust mites to multiply and wreak havoc.

Dust mites are a major trigger for allergy and asthma sufferers.  Carpet can encourage the moisture breeding ground for those dust mites to thrive, however carpet is not an allergy sufferer’s biggest enemy.  Carpet can actually help to keep the dust mites from floating around the home whereas hardwood floors promote the flow of dust mites moving around the home.  Think of your carpet as a filter, trapping the particles that are in the air and keeping them low and away from our nasal passages.  Carpet has gotten a bad reputation for allergy and asthma sufferers alike, but in many cases, carpet can actually keep the triggers of allergies and asthma at bay.

So how can you combat the dust mites that aggravate your allergies and asthma without ripping out your carpet and/or laying expensive hardwood flooring?  Enter New England Steam Clean!  New England Steam Clean is Connecticut’s premier carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning specialist.  New England Steam Clean services all of Connecticut for both residential and commercial customers.  New England Steam Clean’s state-of-the-art equipment uses powerful extraction methods and heats water up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit – the perfect ingredients for killing and removing the dust mites from carpet that have been driving us all crazy lately! Remember; the key to keeping carpet as your ally and not the enemy in combating dust mites is keeping those carpets clean.

At New England Steam Clean, we offer all customers a free consultation and quote for all of the services we provide.  Our knowledge, experience and superior customer service combined are what keep our customers returning year after year and have become what our customers trust in fulfilling their cleaning needs.  Give us a call and set up a free consultation to see what we can do for you and your home or office.  There is no need to battle the allergy season alone!

Was this a paid advertisement for this company? There should be a flag that prefaces all advertisements.

Hi Walter,
Thank you for your comment. This was not a paid advertisement but a blog that Patch users are welcome to utilize. Although it might appear as an advertisement, the intent was mainly to provide some information to people regarding allergies. Our company is able to help people with their allergy symptoms and the topic seemed to go hand in hand with what we provide as well.

It's society's fault.

Another regional high school had a tailgate breakfast this morning and it went with out anyRead More problems. (without approval from admins.) Kids are not the problem here. Seems like administrators are the ones looking for problems.

It's society's fault that they trashed the school. That's intelligent!

Stay positive, learn and grow always. And always, always be open to, and pray for, new perspectives.Read More You are obviously engaged, bright and motivated. Always stay that way, but realize you will see many, many things in your life that aren't fair. I have travelled a lot, and been off the beaten track in Peru and many other poor countries. And I myself grew up on welfare. There are so many wonderful things that we have in Tolland and in America. So many, many opportunities and blessings. Never feel persecuted or you will be the one who loses. This has developed into a discussion about life. In a nutshell, what occurred at the school was not right.

The three lowest funded schools in Connecticut are EastHartford, New Britain and Waterbury. YesRead More that is,per student. Sorry F16 but statistics are easily attainable on line. No, tolland is not on the list of under funded schools.

I was told by a teacher, who is very knowledgeable, that we were as of this year the very bottom ofRead More the state. My bad though, thought that was correct.
