Sign Up for Summer Reading at Tolland Public Library

From the Tolland Public Library: 

Sign your child up for Summer Reading at , and you could win a $1,000 CHET 529 College Savings Plan, and your library could win too! 

The Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET) has partnered with the Connecticut State Library to sponsor “Think Big! Save for College.” 

Four $1,000 CHET account prizes will be given out statewide to readers (through age 13) who enroll in their library’s summer reading and enter their names in the CHET contest this summer. 

Eight additional prizes of a $50 Barnes and Noble gift card will be awarded, four selected in June  (entries must be postmarked by June 30th) and four in July (post-marked by July 31st, 2012). The libraries of the gift card winners will also receive $50. 

It’s simple to enter: 
1. Just stop by Tolland Public Library and sign up your child 
for Summer Reading. 
2. Enter your child in the "Think Big! Save for College Promotion"
by filling out the entry card available at the library. 
3. Mail the card (it’s postage paid) by the deadlines above to 
be eligible for Barnes and Noble gift cards, and no later than 
August 17th, 2012, to be eligible for the $1,000 awards.
