Tolland Opens Cooling Centers
The library and senior center are open Wednesday and Thursday for residents seeking relief from the heat.
The town has opened cooling centers at the and on Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures climb into the 90s.
According to a press release from the Public Safety Department, the senior center will be available to residents from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
The town hall/library parking lot is being paved this week, so residents should park in the lot across from , or the area behind the .
