Your Take: Should These Students Have Been Barred From Prom/Graduation?

Every generation of students has dance moves that parents don't like. What's your take?

Reported and written by Senior Regional Editor Elissa Bass.

Nearly three dozen high school students in San Diego were suspended for sexual harrassment, and the seniors in the group were barred from prom and walking at commencement, after they produced a 'twerking' video using school equipment and on school property.

Twerking is a dance in which, well, butts are vigorously shaken. If you've been to a high school dance in the last couple of years, you've seen it.

According to news reports, the video was the final project for a student in a media class. It was published to YouTube, where it has more than 120,000 views.

You can watch the video here (if you are upset by the sight of lots of shaking butts, don't watch. Also: explicit lyrics): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1EbsuS_pnQ

What's your take? Should these students have been suspended? Barred from end-of-the-year senior activities? What dance moves did you do that upset your parents?
