   With one year to go until Tolland's 300th anniversary, the committee planning to mark the milestone is seeking more volunteers.
     All interested Tolland residents are invited to attend a Tolland 300th Anniversary Committee meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tolland Recreation Center (formerly Parker Memorial School.)
     Attendees will hear about plans for the anniversary and have a chance to sign up for committees that interest them, including the communications, Charter Day, gala, parade and townwide picnic committees.
     Anyone interested in volunteering who can not attend the meeting may contact secretary Kate Farrish at katefarrish@live.com or at 860-871-8089.
