Thanks to Sissy Bernache and Rockville Monuments

Sissy Bernache, owner of Rockville Monuments, recently made a $1,200 in-kind donation to support the Tolland 300th Anniversary Committee.
She donated a portion of her services toward installation in July 2013 of a memorial bench in Janice Pockett's name at Cross Farms park in Tolland. Janice was a Tolland resident who disappeared more than 40 years ago and was never found.
Sissy is also donating a portion of her services for the Tolland Founders Monument that will be dedicated June 13, 2015 at the corner of Dunn Hill and Old Stafford roads. The monument will honor the 59 pioneers who, in 1713, first petitioned the Connecticut Colony to make Tolland its own town.
The charter was granted on May 12, 1715 - the town anniversary that will be celebrated next year.
