Tolland Civic Groups: Be a Part of the 300th Anniversary Celebration

     The Tolland 300th Anniversary Committee is seeking 1,000-word histories of the churches and civic groups in town by Jan. 1, 2014.
     The histories will be included in the 300th anniversary commemorative program, which will be published on May 12, 2014 – exactly one year before the actual anniversary.
     Groups are asked to contact secretary Kate Farrish at 860-871-8089 or at katefarrish@live.com to let her know if they are planning to submit a history. They can also submit up to two photos by email for inclusion in the program.
     By Jan. 1, 2014, the groups should also send the date, time, place and description of any Tolland 300th-themed events they are planning for 2015 to katefarrish@live.com.
     The committee is planning events between May 12, 2015 and Sept. 19, 2015 and is encouraging civic groups and churches in town to schedule their own events during those months as well.
