Tolland Girls lose tough match to powerful RHAM in season opener

The Tolland girls varsity volleyball  team lost their home opener to a powerful RHAM team on Wednesday by the score of 3-0.  The game scores were 25-16, 25-16, and 25-17.  The third game was tied at 13 before RHAM was able to close out the pesky Lady Eagles.  Junior Julia Danielson had 4 kills and senior Chelsea Domian had 2 kill and 5 blocks.   The Tolland JV girls defeated the RHAM JV in 3 sets winning the last 2 sets after losing a close first game.   The girls travel to Rockville on Monday to face the Rams looking to even their record at 1-1
