Tolland Boys Soccer Wins 1-0 over Bloomfield

The Tolland Boys Varsity Soccer team used a 24th minute goal from junior Kyle Bujese to slip past the defending Class S State Champion Warhawks on Wednesday at Carmen Arace Middle School in Bloomfield.

Bujese's first goal of the season came from close range after Tom Allen fed him a short pass to him in front of the goal.

The game saw multiple threats from both teams.  Bloomfield played with speed and the ability to shoot from long range.  Tolland Sophomore goalkeeper Nick Olson was up to the task, recording 11 saves for his first career shutout.

Tolland moves to 3-1 on the season and 2-1 in the CCC East with the win.  Bloomfield drops to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the league.  Tolland hosts Rocky Hill in another CCC East battle on Friday at 3:45 pm at Cross Farms Recreation Complex in Tolland.
