Willington Pizza Conducting Major HVCC Benefit in August
Aug. 5 and 19 are special donation days.
Willington Pizza is conducting a major fund-raiser for the Hockanum Valley Community Council's food pantry this month.
Jeff Kelly, owner and president, has special plans to celebrate Willington Pizza’s 35th birthday. From August 1 through 31, every large designer pizza ordered will include a $3.50 contribution to HVCC.
Also, on Aug. 5 and 19, 10 percent of the sales will go to HVCC.
Pantry officials said the top five items needed are peanut butter, cereal, chicken noodle soup, canned tuna and canned corn. Supermarket gift cards are also accepted.
