The Tolland High School Student Council will be out ion force this week in an effort to collect holiday food and for the local food pantry.
It's the annual Student Council Food Haul.

The Tolland Food Pantry is in need of non-perishable food items and toiletries such as toothpaste, shampoo and soap.
Students will be at the trailer at THS from 6:45 to 7:10 in the morning, and from 1:45 to 2:10 in the afternoon.
The only exception is Wednesday, because THS has a late opening and there will be no morning collections that day.

The Friends of the Tolland Public Library will open the annual Festival of Christmas Trees fundraiser with a reception on Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the library, 21 Tolland Green.
