Here is a look at two major meetings this week:
The Board of Education and Town Council have scheduled a special joint meeting for 7 p.m. on Dec. 3. There is one agenda item - "Discussion of Issues of Mutual Concern." Such meetings had been a topic stressed throughout the campaign season. There is no public comment session listed on the agenda. It is not required for a special meeting.
A Town Council Workshop has been scheduled for Dec.5 at 6 p.m. at the Hicks Center. The only listed agenda item is - "Presentation by town departments on responsibilities and significant initiatives."
