The Town Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday night at 7:30 in the first full meeting of the new term.
The meeting is slated for the Hicks Municipal Center.
Here are the agenda highlights:
• Appointment of a town attorney.
• Appointment of council liaisons.
• Appointment of two Town Council members to the Delinquent Tax Collection Enforcement Committee for Real Estate Taxes.
• Discussion of a process for establishing Town Council Goals for the 2013 to 2015 term.
• Consideration of a resolution making an additional appropriation of $25,000 to a Parks and Facilities – Professional Services account from the General Fund unassigned fund balance for work to be done on Parker School in order to clean it up and secure the building - and the setting of a public hearing for Nov. 26.
• The Town Council meeting schedule.
• Executive session to discuss the purchase of land and security measures at the Board of Education.
