Santa's Workshop, a Pet Adoption, Open Farm Day, and More in Tolland This Weekend

Check out what is going on in the region this weekend.

Santa's Workshop
Friday, 3 p.m. - Wickham Park has welcomed over 145,000 people since 1981.  Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves make the log cabin in Wickham Park their home each winter. A visit with Santa, the elves working on toys and Mrs. Claus serving free refreshments make for a pleasant visit. Set in a log cabin with decorations and music of the season, a fire in the great stone fireplace and a 15 foot Christmas tree provide for a perfect holiday atmosphere. The workshop runs from Dec. 13 through Dec. 23. Hours during the week are from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. and are from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on weekends. Admission is free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Cameras are encouraged and non-perishable food donations are welcome and will be distributed to the local food pantries. For more information, please call 860-528-0856 or visit www.wickhampark.org.
