Gallery Exhibit "Inscapes" - Works by Virginia Dehn
Friday, 6 p.m. - Affordable Framing & Gallery is honored to present these excellent examples of Virginia Dehn's paintings which represent several decades of achievements by the artist. Dehn is part of the group of American artists that shaped the history of 20th Century Contemporary American Art. The opening reception is on Friday and the show runs through Sept. 30. Robert Randolph and the Family Band

Friday, 8 p.m. - See Robert Randoph up close in a small, restored vaudeville theater. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 the day of the show. The box office open is open 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. daily and can be reached by calling. 860-851-9780.

Camp Challenge Ride and Bandit 5K

Saturday, 7:30 a.m. - Ride, run or walk inspired with Team Hole in the Wall at the Camp Challenge Ride and Bandit 5K, the only ride that starts and finishes at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and the only run/walk on Camp! The ride includes scenic route options for cyclists of all levels, rest stops and SAG vehicle support, while both riders and runners receive souvenir apparel and a finish festival with Camp tours, activities, food and entertainment. Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer
Saturday, 9 a.m. - All are invited to participate in the 4th annual 5K run & 1 mile walk to benefit the NOCC Connecticut Chapter’s awareness and education programs. Windsor Fife & Drum Corps. Annual Parade and Muster
Saturday, 11 a.m. - The Windsor Fife & Drum Corps. will host its 28th annual muster and parade on the Windsor Town Green. The parade steps off at 11 a.m. and goes through the center of town. Fife & drum corps. from up and down the East Coast will perform during this afternoon of patriotic music. Bring a lawn chair.

Knights of Columbus Lobster Fest
Saturday, 4:30 p.m. - On Saturday at 4:30 p.m., the Knights of Columbus Council 4303 will host its annual lobster fest. Tickets are $38 for triple lobster, $30 for double lobster, and $30 for lobster and steak. The ticket price also includes a cup of clam chowder, steamed mussels, corn on the cob, and a baked potato. Best of Both Worlds Car Show
Sunday, 9:30 a.m. - Help rally against hunger at the Best of Both Worlds car show to benefit the Enfield Food Shelf. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. Classic and foreign car enthusiasts are welcome. Visit the World of Puppetry
Sunday, 1 p.m. - Why are puppets so intriguing? They take on a life of their own, even when the puppeteer is in full view. Experience their magic at the Vernon Community Arts Center through The World of Puppetry, an exhibit in collaboration with the Ballard Institute and the Puppet Arts Program at the University of Connecticut. The exhibit runs from Sept. 8 until Oct. 5.
