The French Canadian Genealogical Society of Connecticut Library, the former home of the Tolland Public Library,…More retains the air of history in its prime location on the Tolland Green. The small, intimate setting lends well to the ancient collections of family histories gathered from more than 400 years of meticulous record-keeping by French Canadians. The members and volunteer librarians are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, sharing the variety of resources and demonstrating how they were helpful in discovering their own family histories.
The one-day fee to use the resources is $5 for non-members, but it is free to look around.
Annual dues are as follows: Individual, $30; Family, $30 for the first individual plus $10 .
