Ken Davis, Neighbor

Ken Davis lives in Coventry, CT, with his wife, Nancy, and their two cats, Jake and Ella. Ken currently works for FOX Sports and Scout.com as Managing Editor and Beat Writer for UConnPlaybook.com. He is the father of two sons. Patrick, a graduate of the University of Kansas, is an account executive for Staples in Worcester, Mass. Joe graduated from Kansas in May and is interning at the College Basketball Experience in Kansas City, Mo. Ken is a 1980 graduate of the Kansas School of Journalism. He worked at newspapers in St. Joseph, Mo., Binghamton, N.Y., and Baltimore before moving to The Hartford Courant in 1985. ESPN's Dick Vitale named Ken one of the top college basketball writers in the country during his 20 years at The Courant. Ken has freelanced as the national college basketball columnist at NBCSports.com and AthlonSports.com. In addition, Davis has been a contributor to AOL Fanhouse, SI.com, USA Today, Basketball Times, Yahoo! Sports, The Associated Press, Sports Business Journal, ESPN The Magazine, The Sporting News, SportingNews.com, Sports Illustrated, Time-Out, IMG programs, AARP Bulletin and various newspapers across the nation. He is the author of two books, detailing the history of the UConn and Kansas men's basketball programs. Ken also was the editor of Huskies Tip-Off, an annual preseason publication on UConn basketball published by Maple Street Press.
