• Tolland Intermediate will be hosting an open house on Aug. 26. The event will also serve as a meet-and-greet opportunity for students and teachers.
The schedule is: Grade 3 – 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; Grade 4 - 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.; Grade 5 - 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
• A "Bear Reality" program is scheduled for Tuesday, August 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Library. Call the library at (860) 871-3620 to register.

• The Conserving Tolland Walk Book is available for sale at the First Niagara Bank branch on Merrow Road.
The new Luce Conservation map is available as a single page to be added to existing walk books. Go towww.conservingtollandct.org for more info.
• The Tolland Recreation Department is starting a new after school program open to boys and girls in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8.
Registration is ongoing.
The program will be run out of the Recreation Center and participants will take the bus from Tolland Middle School Tolland Intermediate School, where they will be met and walked up to our building by our staff.
